Welcome Reception was held in the Banquet Hall in the Sapporo Garden Palace Hotel. With speeches by guests and hosts of the conference, Yosakoi - the dynamic dance with the folk music in Hokkaido's fishermen (Soran-bushi) - was performed as an attraction.

Conference Party was held in the Sapporo Beer Garden, and participants enjoyed one of the most popular Japanese beer together.
